This course features the NRPA’s Aquatic Facility Operator Manual, the most complete and comprehensive
publication available on pool operations. Author Kent G. Williams combines wit and over 30 years experience

Instructors
The AFO instructor team is comprised of the top aquatic
professionals in the United States. AFO instructors have diverse backgrounds in aquatic operations,
management and chemistry and must complete a two-day training course in public presentation, speaking and
technical aquatic skills. Students consistently rate their AFO instructors as excellent.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the AFO course and 50-question exam, participants will satisfy the State of
Minnesota’s certification requirements for Pool Operators and will also be officially certified by the National
Certification Board of the NRPA. Certification is valid for three years and is renewable through CEU credits or
by taking a challenge test.
