Gallonage Sizing Calculator

By knowing the gallonage of the pool, you can quickly determine the correct amount of
chemicals that are needed to insure proper sanitation. The calculation for total gallonage
is quite simple, once the total surface area of the pool has been obtained.

Calculating Surface Area

MEASUREMENTS

1 yard = 3 feet
1 meter = 3.28 feet
1 foot = .3048 meter
1 yard = .9144 meter
Square foot (ft2) = 12" wide by 12" long
Cubic foot (ft3) = 12" wide by 12" long x 12" high
= 3.14

MEASUREMENTS

1 cup = 8 ounces
1 quart = 32 ounces
1 gallon = 8.33 pounds
1 cubic foot of water weighs 62.4 pounds
1 pint = 16 ounces
1 gallon = 128 ounces
1 cubic foot of water = 7.5 gallons
= 3.14
